A gifted musician, artist, songwriter and producer, Derrick Hall's versatility and innovative style has distinguished him as a recognizable talent in the music industry. He is currently the Music Director for the Edwin Hawkins Singers and has penned music for and accompanied such notable artist as Edwin Hawkins, Tramaine Hawkins, Daryl Coley and Kim Burrell. Derrick has also written songs and served as MD for the Edwin Hawkins and Walter Hawkins Music & Arts Love Fellowship Conference.


As the founder of the dynamic gospel vocal group, Derrick Hall & Company, his missions to empower, encourage and spread the gospel through original music that transcends demographics, social and cultural barriers. The breadth of his music embodies both traditional and contemporary styles, which is evident in Derrick Hall & Company's 4th CD project "Determined". God has blessed him to write a myriad of songs for DH&C and other artists that are fused with inspiration and insightful messages. His new single "I'll Trade My Worry" from his new CD project is a mix of contemporary and traditional styles encouraging all to worship and focus on God's power, provision and promises rather than worrying about things we can't control.
